Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Uruguay in Q2 2024

During the second quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Uruguay demonstrated varying trends in downloads and weekly active users. Below, we delve into the performance of these apps based on Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride by Uber Technologies, Inc. saw a slight decrease in downloads, starting at 1K in the first week of April and ending at approximately 878 by the last week of June. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 32K to 33K throughout the quarter.

Cabify from Maxi Mobility, Inc. experienced a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 496 in early April and peaking at 916 in mid-June. The app’s weekly active users also showed an upward trend, growing from 8.9K to 10.5K over the same period.

Bolt: Request a Ride by BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU had a modest performance in downloads, fluctuating between 51 and 133 downloads per week. Weekly active users for Bolt also saw a slight increase from 267 at the beginning of April to 320 by the end of June.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides by DiDi showed a minor decline in downloads, starting at 72 in the first week of April and ending at 89 in the final week of June. Weekly active users, however, increased from 1.8K to slightly over 2K during the same period.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, another app by Uber Technologies, Inc., saw a mixed trend in downloads ranging from 38 to 88 per week. The app’s weekly active users grew steadily from 519 in early April to 689 by the end of June.
